ERYK ANDERS

Eryk Anders is a professional mixed martial artist, UFC veteran, and proud University of Alabama alumnus. Before stepping into the Octagon, Eryk made his name on the football field as a standout linebacker for the Crimson Tide, helping lead Alabama to a 2009 National Championship. Known for his relentless work ethic, explosive athleticism, and championship mindset, Eryk brings that same drive to his passion for coaching and community.

After years competing against the best fighters in the world, Eryk founded his gym in Vestavia Hills to give athletes of all levels a place to train like champions—physically & mentally. Coach Eryk offers 1:1 coaching for striking, grappling and wrestling to martial artists of all ages and skill levels.

LUCIANO DIROMERO

Luciano DiRomero is an active Muay Thai fighter and martial arts coach with training and competition experience across North and South America, Europe, and Southeast Asia. Having trained in Mexico, Brazil, and Thailand, Luciano brings a diverse martial arts background rooted in Kenpo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Sanda, Kickboxing, and Muay Thai. His experience includes competing in Thailand’s traditional Muay Thai stadiums, where he continues to pursue his development as an active fighter. Coach Luciano combines real-world fighting experience with a technical, adaptable approach to coaching, emphasizing discipline, confidence, and practical skill development. He offers classes and private lessons in both English and Spanish to students of all skill levels.

DOWDA POWELL

Dowda Powell is a Certified Personal Trainer with years of strength training and kickboxing experience, and has explored other sports such as powerlifting and bodybuilding. She teaches our Cardio Kickboxing Class with the goal to be your biggest cheerleader while you find health, empowerment, and confidence through movement. Coach Dowda offers strength training sessions and private lessons for beginner-level striking.
